Thank You for visiting Blue Roses!

I’m Portia Ratnayake and Blue Roses is the New Face/Phase of an old family tradition of planning and creating. In rendering our services we have been exclusive to family and friends so far, but we decided it is time to take a step further…

Apart from my own family, we work with a specifically selected team of professionals who are exceptionally skilled in their respective avenues of trade as well as passionate about it. (I’m sure you will agree with me on that, once you get to know them) This factor contributes to the name ‘Blue Roses’ – blue roses are rare and as I’m sure you would agree, are exceptionally beautiful. I believe that is what we stand for and that is what we promise to offer – something different and something to remember!  

Our forte is in western wedding planning and therefore our services are exclusive.  Though if given the chance we would like to try out other weddings too.  :D

We also do Kids Parties with hand-crafted décor, cute figurine cakes, lots of goodies and party favours! Again, we make sure nothing is cliché!

Frankly we can cover any event that requires an artistic touch! :D

I strongly believe that for two parties to be working together they need to possess a mutual vision; that is why our service providers are carefully selected: Likewise, when a client agrees to hire our services it will be strictly under the latter understanding. 

I assure you that the Blue Roses team will be very honest with you if we think we don’t quite share your visualization of the big event, or if we believe we are not for you.  We do not believe in fantasizing or mystifying you in to hiring our services.  After all, that is the most important factor you should consider when choosing your event planner: Choose one who most understands your dream.

It is your big day you deserve to have it your way! 

There’re quite a few event planners in Sri Lanka and most of them do a commendable job. However, I believe that what I have to offer is a little bit different. (As I hope this blog will convince you)  

I can assure you that if you happen to choose the ‘Blue Roses’ team, you will not regret it. In fact, I am going to be a teeny bit bold here and say that you’re going to thank yourself for it!
